Ryan joined the RELYANT team in 2023 and currently leads the Africa region operations.  Ryan is a retired U.S. Army Officer with over 20 years of experience operating in the Special Operations community and spent fifteen years working projects on the African continent.  Upon retiring from the military, he served as a Systems Engineer for Special Operations Command Africa, managing deployed individuals and teams in high-risk areas.  He has an undergraduate degree in Environment Engineering from the United States Military Academy and Master of Science in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.  Ryan lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife and son, spending his free time chasing a little boy who refuses to stay little.
