This $29M project is to develop a Jet Fuel Storage Installation (JFSI) which includes the construction of cut-and cover tanks with a capacity of 5,000 M3 (1,320,860 gallon), a liquid fuel transfer pipeline, rail offloading facility, filter/manifold/control building, R-11 refueler truck fill stands, tanker truck offloading facility and an access road. The facilities are intended to be compatible with applicable North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, and host-nation design standards. Support facilities included in the project to provide a complete and usable system include R-11 refueler truck parking, site improvements, utilities and connections, lighting, lightning protection, paving, markings, storm drainage, landscaping, and signage.
