The California Wildfire, widely referred to as the ‘Camp Fire’ burned for nearly a month, torching a total of 185,000 acres, destroying 20,000 structures in Butte County, and displacing approximately 12,000 families. In response to the destruction caused by the Camp Fire, RELYANT completed the $3.5M Cost-Plus Fixed Fee site preparation and planning for the installation of 40 manufactured housing units to serve as temporary survivor housing. Our proposal was submitted under the Rapid Disaster Infrastructure Response Program within 30 hours of receipt of the request for proposals and we were mobilized to the site within 48 hours of award. As a result of our outstanding work completing all civil works required to develop the housing sites, FEMA’s LogHOUSE Contractor was able to ‘drag and drop’ the housing units with zero rework of RELYANT’s site preparation scope.
